Our very last family picture, the day of his surgery. March 31, 2016.
"Once Raymond went on to hospice care and was given approximately 6 mos, I had to remain working to continue to provide financially for our family. Nothing hurt more than not being there the day after chemo, when he continued to be sick. When hospice care began, I had to stop working. I did not qualify for unemployment benefits, nor did I qualify for any state benefits. However, I refused to allow that to rob us of the last few weeks we had together."
